![]() I took off the MIK Casino, natural wood, and told him that it was his. * I dig Casinos, as i now own a 2018 Epi SG ( with much better electronics than my previous Epis), I bet new Casinos are fun!ĭuring a basement jam with friends, my 9 year old son confided me that his step father was being mean to him. as it is hollow body ( no center block for pickups and bridge mounting), the neck needs to go further into the body ( still same scale length) - so there are less frets clear of the body/cutaways -so upper fret reach is harder! loud enough to pluck at home ( if you want) without plugging in- just incase you want to hear something! the body is incredibly light, resonant- will Feedback at high volume, but fine for R&R, blues, Jazz, pop, Country ![]() Frustrating- but think this has been corrected But have memories of Treble loss ( even with Tone knobs all the way up) when turning guitar's Volume knobs back, just a little, from full ON volume. the P-90 pickups ( I think like all current Epiphone's electronics, have improved now), sounded pretty good, clean. mine and Tom's had very comfy round C ( not too fat) mahogany necks that were more comfy, less D/oval.shaped necks than the Epi Dot 335's I owned ( and sold) I owned a Cherry Casino a while back in the early 2000's ( needed to sell later, along with others, for $$), and my Beatles nut Tom, has a Sunburst one. ![]()
